VSYNC confuses a lot of people. Some think that it will improve their gaming experience by giving them higher frame rates. If you disable VSYNC you will get higher frame rates, but lousy game play! So use it only for benchmarking.if VSYNC is enabled, your video card will always synchronize the frames it draws with the refresh rate of your monitor. That way, you get a crispy and sharp image. The video card will produce a frame rate of maximum 75 fps if your monitors refresh rate is 75 hz.
