The following results have been taken from PC Pro magazine November issue preview of the GeForce 256. The drivers used were an early beta set and we can only expect the performance to improve over the coming days as testers use newer drivers. The test machine was a Pentium III P550, 128MB RAM.
Considering that the 3D Mark test used standard drivers, the old version of direct x and the current 3D mark the results of that test are amazing. Expect GeForce to rip these results apart even further as drivers get optimised and Direct X 7.0 becomes more widely adopted. Remember that hardware T&L, cube environment mapping and all the other new features aren't even being utilised here!
