Decay is a new game by Insomnia Software that is still in development. These breath taking pre-alpha screenshots give a impression of the 3D graphics used in the game.New (Realtime) techniques like 32Bit Rendering, high reolution textures, Phong- and Metal-shader, Bump mapping, volumetric lights and other allow this new quality.
A word from the developer about performance: "The DVA engine will benefit from next generation high speed 32bit hardware acceleration mostly on systems with a slower CPU. The nVidia TNT card, for instance, will produce a high frame rate even on a low CPU speed system"
