The Tech Zone heeft een handige guide online gezet waarin ze de optimale bios settings bespreken voor overklokkers. De guide is gebaseerd op de Abit BH6 en BX6-2 mobo's, check het hier.
Perhaps one of the most widely asked questions is "What settings should I use in my BIOS for overclocking?" Well, there are no hard and fast rules for this. In general, there are always going to be compromises between speed and stability. What this article shows is what the fastest settings generally are, and gives some suggestions for which to use when overclocking. The motherboards I based this article on are the Abit BH6 and BX6-2. They seem to be what most overclockers are still using. Although there are minor differences with other motherboards, this guide can still form a basic skeleton for your motherboard's settings.
Again, let me stress that there are no "perfect" or even "right" settings for overclocking. Basically, you start at a pretty conservative setting and work your way faster from there. When you reach instability, turn it back down a notch.
