Andy van BXBoards heeft (in navolging van Upgrade Center, zie deze review) een
review van de Gigabyte GA-660 neer geknalt. De overklokbaarheid van deze tamelijk onbekende kaart blijkt verassend goed te zijn:
I really like this card! Firstly due to the cooling solutions employed it is very overclocker friendly! 180Mhz core clock is easily obtainable, and with a fan blowing onto the onboard "sandwich" cooler, speeds of 185Mhz was possible with total stability. This is Hercules Dynamite Ultra levels folks!The use of 7ns SDRAM unfortunately prevents the GA-660 from reaching that cards 220Mhz memory clock - imagine what this design would do with 5.5ns memory! Nevertheless speeds of 70fps at 1024 x 768 x 16 were possible in Quake 2 with the core clocked to 180 - its hard to dismiss that sort of performance!
