The TNT2 chipset has an impressive list of features including: 128-bit TwiN-Texel (TNT) architecture, 32/16MB 166MHz frame buffer with 128-bit interface, AGP 4X/2X/1X interface with sideband addressing, 300MHz RAMDAC, single-pass multi-texturing, 32-bit true color rendering and per-pixel MIP-mapping. Regrading to the clock speed of the Core/Memory, Gigabyte provide's an option for the user to either use the default (125MHz core /150MHz memory) or a turbo mode (156MHz core /156MHz memory). There is a jumper marked TURBO on the GA-660. When the jumper is set to open, the chip will go to the turbo mode(156/156). Gigabyte claims to have put a lot of effort in this feature and it will run quite stable. Their next driver release will also provide the software option for overclocking the chip, so that the user can easily change the speed without opening the PC. The third party utility, Powerstrip, seemed to work fine in this regard. There are both 16MB and 32MB versions being made by Gigabyte as well as a flat panel display output option.
