There's more to Rally Championship, though, than a meticulous approach to accuracy and detail. Magnetic Fields has also made it an enjoyable, playable game - one that'll satisfy both arcade and simulation styles of play. One nice touch is the ability to drive completely off the track, sometimes into the car parks of pubs, or to take a wrong turning for the sake of it, just to see what's down there. And the map you follow in the bottom right of the screen is the Ordnance Survey map for the real locations - which prompted one rally driver brought in to test the game to remark: 'We could use this for practice!'
