AGN Hardware heeft een review van de nieuwe USB Zip drive in elkaar gedraaid. Hier is een stukje over de installatie van de drive:
Whoa! I’m loving USB already! The installation was by far the fastest and simplest installation that I have ever done. I hot plugged the USB Zip drive while the computer was running and Windows98 instantly detected the new hardware and requested that I insert the driver CD. The drive appeared in the Windows Explorer shell as “Removable Disk” immediately after the drivers finished installing. I didn’t even have to reboot! The entire installation took approximately 30 seconds.
AGN HW heeft ook benchmarks waaruit blijkt dat de drive ongeveer 2,4 maal zo snel is als de oude parallele Zip.
