Sierra Studios and Relic Entertainment announced today the official ship date of the highly anticipated real-time strategy game, Homeworld. Based on its strong, supportive showing at E3 and in an effort to coordinate a concurrent, worldwide launch, the game will be released to retail outlets around the world Sept. 1 of this year. Combining elements of space combat, strategic play and action, Homeworld is aiming to deliver elements of the most popular genres into a fresh 3D game experience. It is the debut release from Vancouver, B.C.-based Relic Entertainment.
