You have a pretty standard set of choices for how to race. You may select the time of day during which you wish to compete, with the possibility of racing for up to 24 hours, and the weather conditions present. It is possible to run a race with either a fixed time or a fixed number of laps, with varying fuel and tire use rates affecting the frequency of pit stops, and with speed compensation for trailing cars on or off. If you have just finished an exciting race, a replay is available as is the ability to record it for posterity. There are two solo race modes, including quick race and career, as well as a multiplayer mode that allows up to six people to compete against each other over a LAN, but, strangely, not the Internet.
