After reflecting on the $313,000 part a bit more I decided to try this on a much smaller scale using computers I already had plus whatever my limited budget would let me buy. I call the resulting cluster the Pondermatic. These pages will outline how I did it. There will be alot of Linux talk throughout here as well. So here it goes...
