Eric heeft z'n eerste indrukken over de TNT2 en Voodoo3 op de frontpage van fastgraphics.com gepost:
This seems to be the subject on everybody's minds these days. As you know, I've just tested the Asus V3800 and I'm kind of disappointed by it's performance. I've been doing some additional testing, and this has only confirmed my previous results: consistently slower than Voodoo 3. And then there's another issue: The SGRAM on the Asus TNT2 board is very critical towards overclocking, while the SDRAM on the Voodoo 3 3000 board I've got here runs fine up to clockspeeds of 190 MHz. The only "big" advantage that TNT2 has is the image quality which is certainly better than Voodoo 3. I will get a Diamond Viper V770 in the next few days which uses SDRAM, so I'm quite interested how well overclockable that one will be... More soon.
