Onder de titel 'DDR done right' heeft Abit vandaag haar KG7-Raid moederbord aangekondigd. Deze Socket-A plank is gebaseerd op de AMD 760 chipset en maakt gebruik van VIA's 686B southbridge. De KG7 heeft verder zes PCI sloten, 1x AGP en kan dankzij vier DIMM slots overweg met 4GB DDR SDRAM. Uiteraard is SoftMenu III ook aanwezig

ABITs world-famous SoftMenu™III allows the user to define the correct front side bus speed at anywhere between 100 and 200MHz in increments of one, plus increased CPU core voltage adjustments. The system BIOS features and supports Award Plug and Play BIOS, plus Write-Protect Anti-Virus functionality.ABIT has also added an onboard ATA100/RAID controller, giving you 2 more channels of ATA/100 support which, when added to the 2 native channels, allow you to connect up to 8 IDE devices! This controller also gives you RAID 0, 1, and 0+1 capabilities.
