The VIA KM133A chipset is the natural evolution of chipsets for VIA. Combining the features of VIA's KM133 and KT133A chipsets, the AMD Duron/Athlon now has a high performing chipset that can be used in either low end setups with the onboard graphics or a high end gaming system utilizing the external AGP slot.
The Soltek SL-75MIV is the first KM133A motherboard we have reviewed at VH and it certainly did not disappoint us. We are used to seeing Micro-ATX with limited upgrade ability and usually no overclocking options, this is not the case with the SL-75MIV. The SL-75MIV has the upgrade ability of three memory slots and an external AGP slot along with all the overclocking options one could ask for.
The Soltek SL-75MIV is going to sell for $109 retail which is a tad expensive for a Micro-ATX board, but the features it boasts, certainly makes it tempting. The Soltek SL-75MIV is quite possibly the best Micro-ATX board ever made and would make the ideal platform for a LAN box to carry around.
