AMD continually updates its motherboard validation testing suite for the AMD Athlon and AMD Duron processors to ensure that all of the recommended motherboards listed on our public web site abide by our product specifications for operation. In recent testing, we detected that a few of the motherboards recommended on our site were not operating within our specifications and therefore removed them from our recommended list.
AMD makes no representations or warranties with respect to any information provided on our motherboard recommendation lists for the AMD Athlon and AMD Duron processors relating to the products of other companies, and expressly disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement with respect to such products. Furthermore, the inclusion of such information does not constitute an endorsement by AMD of the product.
If you are having difficultly booting your system with a board that you purchased and it was previously included on our AMD recommended motherboard list, we would recommend that you return it to the reseller to exchange it for one that is currently listed.
Regards,
AMD
