AGN Hardware heeft wat nieuws over een nieuwe 7200rpm drive van Maxtor:
Maxtor also has a new drive on the way. The new DiamondMax Plus 5120 have what are known as "Giant Magneto-Resistive (GMR) heads and have a capacity of up to 20.4 GB per drive. With an average seek time of 9.0 ms and a 7200 rpm spindle speed, this giant may prove to be quite popular. The drive will feature Ultra ATA/33 when it ships later this month but will move to the new Ultra ATA/66 standard in the near future.
