Nog maar weer eens een review van de Hercules Terminator Beast Supercharged met viagra-enhanced Savage3D chip:
For many Direct3D games, the Supercharged Terminator Beast is the fastest currently available card. However for OpenGL based games, it's performance is not as good as some of the other cards.[...] One thing that I noticed is that even at the same resolution and color depth, using non-S3 optimized textures, games still looked better on the Beast than on my Banshee card. Better in what way? I'm not really sure, a little crisper image, maybe a little better color rendition. Running games in 32 bit color seems to cause about a 20%-40% performance hit, which can be worthwhile depending on the game.
