Bij The Cold Shop vind je vandaag een review van de AOpen HX08 fulltower case. De kast heeft vijf 5,25" bays, zeven 3,5" interne bays en één 3.5" externe bay. Het geteste model was verder voorzien van een 300watt voeding. In vergelijking met een Inwin S500 kast bleek de HX08 wat meer geschikt te zijn voor het betere koelwerk:
For testing I placed my personal system in it. Which consists of a classic athlon mounted on a K7M and a Geforce DDR and my aforementioned hard drives (there's other stuff but that's what puts out most of the heat.) The temps decreased quite a bit from my old case, which was an Inwin S500. The temps in the S500 were hovering around 85F and in the HX08 came down to around 80F. I being the overclocker I am am obsessive over cooling and even with the 11 plus fans in my old case still couldn't get the same performance from this "stock" case. Note: I did not add any fans to the HX08 for testing purposes and both temps were taking with the entire case on. So that is a damn impressive number for me!
