Half Life sounded very good. I must say it sounded better than my NuSound 3D (A3D) that I used before. Sounds come from all around you and ... well .. how the hell should I explain it. It sounds great. Trust me.Myth II also has very good sound effects. While talking with Bungie at E3 last year they told me that they used EAX to be able to simulate different locations and I must say they have used it well.
Sid Meiers Alpha Centauri(SMAC)has EAX support via a patch. I played the game both before and after I applied the patch. This is a game that doesn't benefit as much as the other games with EAX but I felt I got a richer sound that without the patch.
