Speakers are a vital component to every gaming or DVD system, they add depth and feeling to the latest and greatest games and movies. With PC DVD becoming more mainstream, there has been a rise in the demand for 5.1-channel audio systems for the PC. So how much power can a consumer speaker system have, that is under $200?
[...] If you have a 3D sound card and are looking for a decent 5.1-channel speaker sysetm, whether be it for a DVD system or a great buy, then this system may be for you. If you have a SoundBlaster Live, Canyon3D, or Vortex2 sound card and are still using the generic speaker's that came with your comp, then get up and get yourself some high powered speakers. The speaker's themselves sound great, but the real shocker is the pricetag. For the mere $199USD, you can have a great speaker system. Even better, with a few extra dollars, you can have a Dobly Digital Speaker System, by purchasing the seperate ADS2000 unit. With this price tag and excellent performance, I could not help but to give it the Chick's Hardware Editor's Choice Award. There could be no other way. Never again will I watch a movie or play a game and not feel at least a little anxious for the bass to kick in, or even a little envious of the speakers.
