Maxis has released free SimCoty 3000 building add-ons and terrain sets to its web site. SimCity 3000 includes the ability to construct on real-world terrains and contains real-world buildings for the cities. The game ships with over 100 buildings from around the world and a dozen real-world terrains. In February, Maxis released the first add-on, a set of San Francisco-based buildings. Maxis' second building add-on went online today and features buildings from New York City. Maxis plans to continue post new building sets and terrains on a regular basis. These add-ons will remain on the site indefinitely.
