No. 3Dfx has already introduced us to the idea of using more than one video card to upgrade performance. Metabyte is showing off a different implementation that can be applied to ANY graphics cards. Another interesting improvement is the ability to combine an AGP and PCI card. If it works, it's certainly going to give the educated consumer more flexibility in upgrading video performance.
