Trainwrecker heeft een review gepost van de Addtronics 7896A en 7890A server towers. Vooral de 7890A is een erg brute tower. De vormgeving van het frontje is gelijk aan de SC750-A en SC760-A van SuperMicro (beide kasten worden door Addtronics geproduceerd), maar de 7890A heeft hierbij nog een extra 5,25" bay voor een totaal van 7! Verder heeft de 7890A alle prettige features die je van Addtronics en SuperMicro gewend bent, zoals de openklappende zijpanelen en de erg goede koeling. Zonder modificatie kun je al zeven 8cm fans en een 6cm fan in de kast kwijt - voeding niet meegeteld:
The main feature I liked about these two cases is the Swing–Out Doors. This is so much nicer than having to slide the side panels to the rear of the case to gain access. All you need to do is pop off the front panel, which frees the side doors, and you’re in. The doors also lift out of the hinges for easy removal if you need more room to work. I actually leave the four screws out to make it easier to get in the case. The front panel holds everything together very nicely.[...] As you can tell these are large cases and aren’t the kind of cases you throw the old LAN Party Carry Strap around and tote to your weekend LAN Party. The Addtronics 7890A and 7896A are cases are better suited for a serious home system or for servers. The number of user-friendly features outweighs the few flaws by a long shot. If you’re into overclocking or a power user or heavily into video editing and need lots of room for drives or cooling these two cases are incredible.
