With NO heatsinks installed we were able to take our ASUS v7700 GF2 32mb DDR from the default spec of 333MHz memory clock to 350MHz with no crashes or glitches, with any speeds over 350MHz we experienced crashes & glitches. With the heatsinks installed we were able to take the memory clock up to a stunning 370MHz with no crashes or glitches! So, thus when using the Mellenger.com heatsinks we were able to overclock the memory clock up a stunning 37MHz over spec with no crashes or glitches. We didn't want to fry our card, but if you are game you could try increasing the memory clock even higher to say 375-380MHz for example, while using the heatsinks. But you do this at your own expense, we will not take any responsibility for any damages. You can read more at our GeForce2 Overclocking Guide!
Overall we were quite impressed with the Mellenger.com Video Card Cooling kit. The kit was delivered to us in Australia rather quickly. I felt the price of the kit is a little to expensive at $30.00 USD, although if you just want the heatsinks and thermal tape the price is much more attractive at $22.00 USD. Andrew no longer stocks the 586 HSF which we were sent, so if you want one you'll have to source one yourself - like we mentioned earlier in the review. The cost of shipping worldwide is an extra $4.00 USD. If your looking to get a bit more performance out of your graphics card or just want make it funky the Mellenger.com Video Card Cooling kit is for you.
