The performance of The Card Cooler XT is astounding for an aftermarket cooling device, or any cooling device for that matter, as it lowered my system temperature 11 degrees Fahrenheit to 87 degrees, and my CPU temperature was dropped 10 degrees. To top it all off the overclocking potential of your video card should increase with a drop of 6 degrees Fahrenheit to my GeForce 2 GTS. This kind of performance can be credited to the 138 cubic feet or air moved through the system with the dual 120mm Sunon fans.[break]TrainWrecker heeft ook een review gemaakt over de Card Cooler XT. Ze komen tot ongeveer de zelfde conclusie: goede performance voor een goede prijs:[/break]Performance issues are quick and easy, no installing SYSmark 2000 here. We got a 4 degree temperature drop in the case on an average that we have been monitoring with a Digital Doc. Also the Asus monitor has been between 3-4 degrees cooler with the XT. The best part is that your Ram gets a wind bath and your graphics card can keep its OEM cooling. If you want to install a heatsink on the back of a video card, the XT will help cool it. Again the picture is the whole story. Performance with decent noise, good power rating and an easy install never come cheap. The price of the XT is 34.00. Now that's a roast beef sandwich and a large Pepsi here in the NYC area, but that is a fair investment for some. A point to remember is that the Unit is durable and will swap from systems as you upgrade. (Unless you buy a I-Mac) The XT has a warranty period that is lifetime, so the Card Cooler company backs it up. Overall we feel that its a good value and offers great performance.
Why didn't I think of it first?
