Bij Jsi Hardware is een vergelijkende test te vinden van drie 'card coolers': coolers voor boven al je geliefde printplaten. Getest worden de GlobalWin CAF12 en CBF32 en de Card Cooler (van CardCooler). Alledrie de kaarten presteerden goed, maar de voorkeur van de reviewer ging uit naar de GlobalWin CAF12:
As you can see the CAF12 and the card cooler came out top with the CBF32 not far behind. I think however the CAF12 would perform better if i were able to move it up slightly more as the back of the Creative Geforce does get very hot and also there are some memory chips as well on the back of the card.
The only gripes I have with the coolers is that the CBF32 is damn noisy however I am already running 2 ystechs in my case on my cpu which doesn't help The card cooler could do with a better mounting rail to allow for finer adjustments, but apart from that i think there all good coolers and i will have a hard time deciding which one is going to be staying in my box
Overall though I would recommend the CAF12 as not only does it cool the video card but also helps cool the rest of you add-on cards and also helps provide good airflow round your case.
