Overclockers Workbench meldt dat er geruchten gaan dat Abit op dit moment werkt aan een dual FC-PGA moederplank. Deze opvolger van de BP6 zal tevens voorzien zijn van ATA100 support en busspeed settings in stappen van 1MHz (thanks Crack voor de tip):
It has been brought to my attention that there is a rumour that ABIT is making a ver 2 of it's popular ABIT BP6 mainboard to support the FC-PGA Dual Coppermines.The board will also feature some of the best breed features of the BE6-II like 1Mhz Stepping of FSB and others like ATA-100 Support?? It was also mentioned that this board actually uses VIA chipset.
Looks like there will be a war of dual Coppermine boards when when Computex Taipei exhibition starts in June. The show will probably features some of the best innovative products from all manufacturers.
