Details leaked from Rise Technology demonstrate that its mP6-266 chip is not as fast as first hoped.This will come to a disappointment to PC mobile manufacturers which had hoped to incorporate the chip into their systems.
According to test results we have already seen, the Rise core is something of an underperformer at CPU Mark 522, using the Winbench98 test. The FPU mark in the same test amounts to 688.
