Planet Hardware heeft twee reviews van ADI monitoren online gezet. Een review van de ADI G710 17" Flat Screen CRT monitor en een review van de ADI 9L 18" LCD monitor. Hier een stukkie uit de review van de CRT monitor:
The single most overlooked component during an upgrade is the monitor, funny; it's the one we see the most. The reasons vary from already owning a fairly new monitor, to not thinking there is much difference between your 'good old' one and new more advanced monitor, to just not caring about the quality of graphical output that much. Well, I won't be able to help the first or last group of people toady, but if you feel that there is too little to gain from replacing your old monitor to justify the cost, read on, I may sway you.[break]En hier een stukkie uit de review van de LCD monitor:[/break]First, you just have to love, or drool, over the 18.1" size. It's a fairly large size, especially when you consider that that is all viewable. None of that 17" monitor, but 16" viewable bullshit here. What you get is what you pay for. The next important thing is the max resolution, which is a healthy 1280x1024. This may seem low, as CRT's can handle up to 2048x1536, but the limitation again points back to the manufacturing process. LCD's are limited to their max resolutions by how they are constructed, and the process is just not there yet to offer the highest resolutions available from today's CRT's. Be sure to take note of that contrast ratio folks. For the maximum resolution you can get, you get one hell of a crisp image.
