De makers van FileZilla hebben versie 2.2.7 van hun FTP-programma uitgebracht. FileZilla is een erg uitgebreide open source FTP-client die ook overweg kan met SFTP-servers en servers die gebruik maken van SSL of Kerberos GSS. De developers lieten het volgende changelog achter:

- MODE Z file transfer compression
- chmod did not work for file without or unknown attributes
- crashes related to files with invalid timestamps
- SSL problem which sometimes prevented uploading of files and may have had other symptoms as well
