Canon heeft nieuwe firmware uitgebracht voor de EOS 7D- digitale spiegelreflexcamera. De update heeft versienummer 2.0.0 meegekregen en is 18MB groot. De downloads zijn beschikbaar voor Windows en Mac OS X. Versie 2.0 verbetert onder andere de maximumburst in 'continuous shooting'-mode, voegt ondersteuning voor een nieuwe gps-ontvanger toe en verhelpt enkele problemen. Verder zijn ook diverse opties aan het menu toegevoegd.
Firmware Version 2.0.0 incorporates the following improvements, new functions, and fixes.NOTE:
