Firmware-update: Areca ARC-11xx & ARC-12xx & ARC-1680 1.47

Areca heeft voor de raid-controllers in de ARC-11xx-, ARC-12xx- en ARC-1680-series nieuwe firmware uitgebracht met 1.47 als het versienummer. Hiermee wordt onder andere ondersteuning van Advanced Power Management toegevoegd voor harde schijven van Hitachi, waarbij opgemerkt moet worden dat de harde schijven van Seagate, Western Digital en Samsung niet ondersteund worden vanwege het ontbreken of niet correct functioneren van APM.    • If HDD is in Low RPM state, it may take longer than 8 seconds to spin up
