Woensdag is versie 1.96 van XnView verschenen. Met dit programma kunnen meer dan 400 verschillende formaten grafische bestanden worden geopend en worden geconverteerd. Het programma is voor thuisgebruik en nonprofitorganisaties gratis te gebruiken en in meer dan 40 talen beschikbaar. Op de downloadpagina zijn drie verschillende versies beschikbaar: een minimale, een standaard en een complete versie, waarbij het verschil zit in het aantal ondersteunde formaten en of Nconvert wordt meegeleverd.
