Gisteren is versie 1.64.3 van Samurize uitgekomen. Met dit programma is het mogelijk allerlei informatie op de desktop weer te geven, zoals processorgebruik, vrije harddiskruimte, de temperatuur van de processor en in de kast, en netwerkverkeer. Door middel van scripts is het aantal mogelijkheden onbegrensd, en kunnen bijvoorbeeld ook zaken als het weerbericht, wat er op televisie is en wat Winamp op dit moment speelt worden weergegeven. Dit alles eventueel met mooie plaatjes en grafiekjes. Het programma is geschikt voor Windows 2000, XP en 2003 Server en is volledig gratis. Op ons eigen GoT kan er over dit programma worden gediscussieerd. Ten opzichte van de bèta zijn er flink wat veranderingen doorgevoerd. De meest in het oog springende is ondersteuning voor IMAP4. Minder goed nieuws is dat nog niet alle Vista-gerelateerde problemen zijn opgelost, maar daar gaat de komende tijd hard aan gewerkt worden.
