Software-update: musikCube 1.0

Casey Langen heeft eindelijk de langverwachte versie 1.0 van musikCube uitgebracht. musikCube is een no-nonsense muziekspeler, waarmee ook de muziekcollectie kan worden beheerd en georganiseerd. Het programma is gebaseerd op de embedded SQL database engine sqlite, waardoor het razend snel is. Verder beschikt het over 'Dynamic playlists', die automatisch en willekeurig muziek afspeelt gebaseerd op je eigen luisterstijl. Hoe meer je het gebruikt hoe slimmer musikCube wordt. Verder beschikt het over een ingebouwde equalizer en cd-ripper, en door middel van plugins kan extra functionaliteit en ondersteuning voor extra audio-formaten worden toegevoegd. De release notes van deze versie zien er als volgt uit:

Removed:

• focus follows cursor option
• unnecessary dialogs from the resource file
• "Save Playlist" from the File menu. This is now done automatically.
• dead and unused accelerators
