Nano-Hive is een modulaire simulator voor het modeleren van een fysieke wereld op nanometer niveau. Het programma kan stand-alone worden gebruikt maar is daarnaast ook te integreren in andere applicaties, zoals CAD-applicaties. Nano-Hive version 1.1.2 for Windows and Unix derivatives is available for download. The main feature of this release is the inclusion of the Unix-derivative port of HiveKeeper, a GUI for Nano-Hive. Other features of this release:
- The NH_Export simulation workflow script command now takes an optional second parameter which is a filename to write the simulation space to. This feature makes it possible to write the simulation space out to a unique file at every iteration, or modulus thereof.
- The ConsoleCommand plugin now uses PD/ncurses. This move makes the command-line interface more regular, and paves the way for a richer text-based user interface in the future.
- The SocketsControl has been refactored to improve error and connection handling.
