Xfire heeft een update gekregen naar versie 1.40. Dit instant messaging-programma is speciaal voor gamers geschreven. Zo kan er niet alleen worden gechat met mensen op de contactlijst, maar is er ook te zien waar ze op dit moment aan het spelen zijn en kan men zichzelf vervolgens aan dit spel toevoegen. Op dit moment worden volgens deze pagina ruim 350 spellen ondersteund, waarvan er aan 129 spellen vanuit het programma via "Instant Joining" meteen kan worden meegedaan. - More enhancements to group chat
- including the Actions | Invite Friends to Room dialog and kick/banning users.
- Improved chat window creation to NOT steal the keyboard focus. This was a very strongly requested feature.
- Auto reconnect added. If you are disconnected from the Xfire servers
- you will automatically be reconnected after a short period of time. You can of course still reconnect immediately by hand.
