Gape van Exuberant Software op het forum van MSFN een bugfix-release van de onofficiële Service Pack voor de Engelse versie van Windows 98 Second Edition vrijgegeven. De 15,5MB grote download bestaat uit een verzameling van kritieke patches die te downloaden zijn vanaf Windows Update plus enkele third party programma's en tweaks. Dit zijn alleen updates voor het besturingssysteem zelf, updates zoals Internet Explorer 6, DirectX 9 en de Windows Media Player zullen nog steeds apart geïnstalleerd moeten worden.
