xFX JumpStart heeft zojuist DHTML Menu Builder 4.9 uitgebracht. Met dit programma kunnen snel en op eenvoudige wijze professioneel uitziende Dynamische HTML-menus voor op een website worden gecreëerd zonder dat hiervoor zelf ook maar één regel code hoeft te worden geschreven. De code die wordt gegenereerd door dit programma is volgens zeggen 100% compatibel met Internet Explorer 4, 5, 5.5 en 6.0, Netscape Navigator 4, 6 en 7, Opera 7, Safari en Konqueror. Enkele voorbeelden van menu's die met dit programma gemaakt kunnen worden zijn op deze pagina terug re vinden. De software is verkrijgbaar in de smaken normaal en Lite, waarbij de eerste $65 kost en de laatste voor $25 van eigenaar wisselt. De verschillen in mogelijkheden worden hier nader uitgelegd. - Fixed several problems with he "Install Menus" dialog:
- The splitters will no longer cause the contents of the different panes to get cut (no clipping).
- The list of files can now be properly sorted by date and size.
- The headers for the files list pane are now properly displayed (no clipping).
- Fixed bug with the Menus Report tool as it wasn't properly calculating the time required to download the menus.
- The HelpViewer application will now order search results correctly.
- The "Selection Delay" parameter will now work on toolbar items as well allowing the mouse to pass above both toolbar items and commands without changing the selection.
- Added support to compress the generated .js files using GZIP. This can reduce the .js files by up to a third of their original size.
- Included three new AddIns:
- RollerEffect2: This is a new version of the RollerEffect which implements a smoother animation.
- HideOnClick: Projects compiled with this AddIn will only hide the menus when clicking on the document.
- HideOnMouseOut: This AddIn will hide the menus when the mouse is moved away from them. This is the standard behavior of the menus but this AddIn will allow the menus to maintain this behavior even when the mouse pointer position is unknown; a common situation is when the menus appear over an iframe.
