CocoViewX is een freeware programma voor het Mac OS X-platform waarmee afbeeldingen kunnen worden bekeken en bewerkt. Ondersteuning voor de gangbare bestandsformaten is aanwezig zoals bmp, tiff, targa, gif, png, jpg, pict, pdf, eps, icns, jp2 en sgi. Voor de gene die benieuwd is hoe dit er dan uit ziet kan hier een kijkje nemen. De ontwikkelaar heeft onlangs versie 0.9.2 de deur uitgedaan met het volgende changelog:

- fixed problem the application lost file-focus by creating a new folder in the export-view
- fixed drawing a transparent background instead a black background
- and many more minor changes
