Driver-update: AMD Driver Pack 2.2.0 WHQL

AMD heeft een tijdje geleden nieuwe stuurprogramma's uitgebracht voor zijn AMD-8000-chipset. De update is genummerd als 2.2.0 en hebben het WHQL-certificaat in ontvangst mogen nemen. Door te klikken op deze link zijn de stuurprogramma's als zogenoemd Driver Pack te downloaden. De werking van de installatiesoftware wordt als volgt omschreven:

The AMD Driver Pack offers customers a unified installation for device drivers for platforms based on the AMD-8000 series chipset. Using Driver Pack, it is not necessary to know which drivers in your system need to be applied. AMD Driver Pack is designed to detect the current operating system and hardware in the system. If a device in the AMD-8000 series chipsets is detected, it provides you the option to install the correct drivers.[break]

lijkt me duidelijk een héél andere chipset, nee dus!

Interpreteer de gehele zin ipv een subzin en dan begrijp je ineens ook dat het gaat om moederborden gebaseerd op de AMD-8000 chipsetvarianten.
