Software-update: Microsoft TweakMCE 1.0

Microsoft heeft de eerste versie vrijgegeven van TweakMCE. Dit programma is in staat om verborgen instellingen van Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 aan te passen, waaronder de gebruikerinterface en remote control settings. TweakMCE 1.0 is vanaf hier te downloaden en wordt als volgt omschreven:

Tweak MCE gives you access to systems settings and options not normally exposed in the Windows XP Media Center Edition user interface, including remote control settings, Skip and Replay time customizations, user interface options, and more. It also helps you to optimize Media Center Extender for plasma and non-CRT displays.

Dit pakket ; tweakMCE 1.0 is een kleine update van de versie die in het "winter Fun pack zit"

Matt Goyer (MCE Programeer team) zegt erover:
"This is a newer version then the one that shipped with the winter fun pack. It should install better (but not perfectly) for non-USA locales, we removed the reaction compensation setting because it didn't work, and fixed the recorded TV location entry field to accept longer strings"

Ik heb dat hele fun pack op m'n MCE staan gehad, speciaal voor die tool, maar heb het ding nooit aan de praat gekregen. Hoop dat ik hier meer geluk mee heb.

Hm... Dit keer werk het. Heb er wel helemaal niks aan. Oh well...

(Een knop om on the fly subs aan te zetten zou mooi zijn. Knoppen zat op die remote. Jammer dat ze niet programmeerbaar zijn.)

Omdat funpack aan de praat te krijgen moet je een registrykey wijzigen, google er maar eens op.
