HiFi Control is een Windows-applicatie waarmee, streamers, luidsprekers en netwerkversterkers vanaf de desktop kunnen worden bestuurd. Het ondersteunt apparaten op drie ecosystemen: BluOS (Bluesound, NAD, DALI, Monitor Audio, Roksan, Cyrus Audio), HEOS (Denon, Marantz) en MusicCast (Yamaha). Voor HEOS en MusicCast bestaat geen officiële desktopapplicatie en de officiële BluOS Controller ontbeert een aantal basale features, zoals presets of integratie met de systeemtray.
Voor apparaten met ondersteuning voor Dirac kunnen profielen worden aangemaakt en is er een A/B-testfeature aanwezig waarmee blind-tests kunnen worden gedaan om verschillende profielen met elkaar te vergelijken. Verder zijn er een mediabrowser en zoekfunctie die over de aangesloten apparaten en gekoppelde diensten heen werken, integratie met Tidal en Spotify, ondersteuning voor de Microsoft Surface Dial en sinds versie 1.5.0 een plug-in voor de Elgato Stream Deck. HiFi Control is gratis te gebruiken voor één apparaat met één preset, inclusief sneltoetsen, volumeoverlay en Spotify-integratie. Voor meerdere apparaten, onbeperkte presets, Tidal-, Dirac- en Surface Dial-ondersteuning moet een abonnement worden afgesloten. De changelog sinds versie 1.5.9 kan hieronder worden gevonden.
