Qualcomm heeft een nieuwe betaversie van zijn e-mailprogramma Eudora uitgebracht en deze heeft versienummer 6.2.0.13 meegekregen. Eudora is op drie manieren te gebruiken. Ten eerste kan er gratis met beperkt mogelijkheden worden gewerkt. Dan is er de mogelijkheid om nog steeds voor niets, maar met meer functionaliteit aan de gang te gaan. In dat geval worden er wel advertenties afgebeeld. Tenslotte kan men voor 50 dollar het volledige potentioneel gebruiken en dat ook nog zonder reclame. Hieronder staan alle veranderingen ten opzichte van de vorige bètaversie, 6.2.0.9 beta:
IMAPEMOTICONS
- Fixed one case where deleted messages were not being removed from the TOC view.
- Fixed crash when filtering IMAP messages that have been downloaded minimal headers only, are transfered by one filter and acted on by a second filter.
MISCELLANEOUS BUG FIXES/IMPROVEMENTS
- Fixed bug where the cursor could move to the beginning of the next line when the user typed an emoticon trigger and it was automatically converted to the equivalent emoticon image
- Relaxed some ad failure calculations.
- Fixed bug where ScamWatch complained that a URL is not valid when the domain name contains an underscore character.
- Fixed bug where ScamWatch incorrectly warned about URLs when the link text contains multiple trailing periods.
- Fixed bug introduced in 6.2.0.10 where ScamWatch would incorrectly warn about attachments.
