Software-update: UniGetUI 2026.1.5

Versie 2026.1.5 van UniGetUI is uitgekomen. Dit programma wordt tegenwoordig door Devolutions uitgegeven, bekend van onder meer Remote Desktop Manager en diverse andere beveiligingsproducten, en dient als grafische gebruikersinterface voor de bekendste softwarebeheerprogramma's, waaronder Winget, Chocolatey, Scoop, Pip en Npm. Met die packagemanagers kan software vanaf de commandline worden geïnstalleerd, bijgewerkt en verwijderd worden en UniGetUI maakt dat dus eenvoudiger. Het programma is opensource, beschikbaar voor Windows, Linux en macOS, in veel talen te gebruiken waaronder in het Nederlands, heeft een donker thema en geeft notificaties als er nieuwe versies van geïnstalleerde programma's beschikbaar zijn. De changelog voor deze uitgave ziet er als volgt uit:

Werkt dit ook met apt?

Heb een issue met de SoftwareManager in Kubuntu (die wil niet starten), dus genoodzaakt om via de terminal te updaten (niet dat dat zo erg is). Maar met een ui is het af en toe ook leuk om te snuffelen wat er allemaal is

Momenteel wordt het volgende volgens de website ondersteund:

• Pip
• Npm
• NET Tool
• PowerShell Gallery

Het werkt helaas in dit geval alleen op windows.
Het kan apps installeren en updaten via Winget, Chocolatey, Scoop, Pip, Npm, en .NET Tool.

Synaptic als workaround al geprobeerd?

Gebruik je nog de versie van voor de overname door Devolutions dan gaat een upgrade niet automatisch momenteel. De versie van voor de overname is nog gemarkeerd als "latest" op Github zo te zien.

Klopt, je moet manueel de laatste Devolution versie over de non-Devolution versie heen installeren.
