Bij nV News las ik dat er een nieuwe update is verschenen voor het programma FRAPS, een framerate counter voor Direct 3D. De volgende features zijn toegevoegd:
- Ability to choose which corner of the screen the counter is displayed in.
- New screen capture feature. Hit NUM LOCK during a game to have the current screen saved to disk as a BMP file. The bitmap filename will be the game's name with a timestamp on it. This has only been tested running in 16 bit color mode, but should also work fine with 24bit/32bit. It will NOT produce a bitmap for games running in 8 bit (256 colors). If the game uses gamma adjustment to brighten the image, the output bitmap may appear darker than the original.
