HP heeft een nieuwe firmware beschikbaar gesteld voor de h4100-series iPaq Pocket PC. De download weegt net iets meer dan 18MB en kan vanaf deze pagina worden opgehaald. De download bevat de ROM-image en een ROM Update Utility (RUU). Het updaten van de firmware duurt via een USB-kabel ongeveer twintig minuten, maar gebruikers met een seriëlekabel moeten ongeveer anderhalf uur uittrekken voor de procedure.
