PHPEdit is een Integrated Developement Environment, kortweg IDE, die speciaal ontworpen is voor de taal PHP. Het pakket heeft een groot aantal handige features aanboord zoals onder andere syntax highlighting, code hint, code insight, integrated PHP debugger, help generator, customizable shortcuts, meer dan 150 scriptable commands, keyboard templates, todo report generator en QuickMarks. Het ontwikkelteam heeft onlangs versie 1.0.3 uitgebracht die in razend tempo versie 1.0.2 heeft opgevolgd. De release notes en het changelog zien er als volgt uit:
We've just managed to fix one of the latest access violation source that has been reported just after the 1.0.2 release; and an issue with HTML output dock has been reported, we've decided to release this version today, sorry for this. WebInstall version download will be restored next week.
