Lite-On heeft naast de SOHW-812S ook een nieuwe firmware uitgebracht voor zijn LDW-401S dvd-brander. De nieuwe versie is voorzien van rugnummer 0K en is in staat om het booktype van een brandbare dvd-schijf te veranderen. Het changelog ziet er als volgt uit:
