DVDXCopy Platinum kan een back-up maken van dvd-films, deze worden dan weggeschreven op een dvd-r(w) of dvd+r(w). Wanneer het origineel zich op een dubbel gelaagde dvd bevindt wordt deze automatisch verdeeld over twee dvd recordables. Onlangs is versie 4.0.3.8 uitgebracht met het volgende changelog:
- Two new options available within the Settings Tab
- Ability to suspend the screensaver while copying
- Ability to play a sound to alert you when copying has completed
- Universal buttons have been added to the Advanced Tab which allow you to make any of the following selections with just a click of a button!
- Show all titlesets including subtitles
- Show only highlevel titlesets
- Check all titlesets
- Uncheck all titlesets
- Direct link now available to the 321 Studios website.
- Fixed settings check for the TDF problem where an unchecked box caused the application to search for TDF.
- The Preview Video feature is now functioning on Windows 98SE and ME operating systems.
- There was an issue with Under compression for many of you on certain movies, like: “Pirates of the Caribbean”, this has been addressed. Under compression can still be a problem on some movies with large numbers of special features. The problem would be most prevalent in the Simple Mode using the Whole Disc Option or in Advanced Mode using the Compressed, Whole Movie Mode. To work around this, simply copy the movie in Advanced Mode, only selecting the Titleset(s) that contain the movie, or using Simple Mode with the “Whole Disc” function not selected.
- On some movie titles, when the first disc had finished burning and the second disc was inserted, the application was not recognizing that the second disc had been inserted. This Disc Splitting error has been fixed for many more movie titles. Splitting problems are a movie specific issue. If you have an issue with a certain movie, check the 321Live! Forums or contact technical support.
